The ocean can be a bit unpredictable, so in our Surf School we carefully plan each session based on what’s best for your skill level and of course your safety. That said, when the tides cooperate, mornings are often the prime time.

What you need to know about morning surf lessons in Tenerife

  • What should I bring? Every lesson includes surf equipment such as surfboard, wetsuit and reef boots. The only recommendation from our Surf School is to bring sunscreen or a special surf stick, swim suit to put under the wetsuit and a towel.   • What time do morning surf lessons start? Everything depends on the waves but usually if we talk about morning surfing lessons begin around 8 or 9 am. If it’s private lessons or orginze groups we can even start around 7 or 7:30 am, depending on tides and conditions.
  • What happens if the conditions aren’t good in the morning? If the morning conditions aren’t ideal, we’ll adjust the lesson time to when the waves are safest and most suitable for your level. Your safety and experience are our priorities.
  • How do you decide the timing of the lessons? The timing depends on the ocean conditions, such as tides and waves. We always choose the best time to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience. Our experiences surf instructors will alway advise you about the best time for surfing, especially knowing well the surf spots in Tenerife.
  • Can beginners join early morning lessons? Yes of course! If conditions allow morning sessions are perfect for every level of surfing. Remember we alway put priority on your safety and in our Surf School we choose the best waves for your surfing level.
